Welcome to Lisa's Learning Land Child Care

Lisa's Learning Land is located in Oakville, which is in the Mehlville School District—about a mile from Telegraph and Becker Roads. The bus for Rogers Elementary School stops at Lisa's Learning Land.

Located on a quiet cul-de-sac, Lisa's Learning Land is a safe, fun, and educational place for your child to be while you are working, taking a class, or having a little time to yourself. High quality care is provided by Lisa, a loving, stay-at-home mother of two children. Care is available for children of all ages on weekdays. Lisa provides night out, backup, and drop-in child care, as well.

Designed to meet the needs of parents who work full-time or part-time, Lisa's Learning Land may be the perfect fit for your child and family. Lisa has two child-friendly dogs—an 8 year old 25 pound Golden Retriever mix, named Molly, and a 2 year old Papillon named Rootbeer. Her home is child-proofed, non-smoking, and clean. Lisa's Learning Land offers climbing tubes, indoor and outdoor playhouses, developmental toys, and a secluded fenced backyard with a swing set, ride on toys, bikes, sand box, water table, and much more.

With educational books, games and puzzles, computer games (Dora, Reader Rabbit, etc.), and beginning Spanish lessons, your child can't help but have fun in Lisa's cozy brick home. Your child is assured lots of individual attention. Lisa's goal is for her home to be a home-away-from-home for your child. The maximum number of children at any time is four, but because parents need different times, it is usually only your child (or children) and Lisa's children. Lisa also provides short notice drop-in care when your regular provider is closed or not available. If Lisa is not available or cannot help you with your care, she has backup providers to recommend.

Unlike some providers, Lisa does not conduct interviews with new parents or families, while she is watching your children; this restriction is in place to ensure the safety of children in her care. Lisa's Learning Land provides a parent handbook noting childcare policies, as well as, clear, concise registration materials. As a safety precaution, field trips are not offered.

Please contact Lisa by email or phone for additional information, or to schedule a new client interview.
